Door Group

Door Groups help when managing multiple locks under the Mass Access Privilege function.

Door Groups provide the ability to assign access to all doors within an entire location in one action. Or, create sub-groups of locks and assign user access to all locks within a group with a few clicks.

Use Door Groups to assign access to several doors in one action. After creating a group, you can then assign the group to an Access User to send that users pin/credential to all the doors in that group.

To create a door group, go to the devices tab, then select the "Door Groups" tab, then select "Add Door Group" to add a new Door Group.

Please note, Door Groups could require a plan upgrade. This can be configured from your account's Billing settings.

Click Add Door Group and name your group.

Add the doors you would like to include in the door group (doors must have wifi connected devices).

You can edit, delete, and add additional doors to the group from this details page.

Door Groups are a great way to provide access to a subset of locks in one easy action to an individual access user. Similar to Common Doors but used for groups of specific doors.

More information and an informational video on door groups can be found here.

Group Conflicts

For Group conflicts, the last action/save rules.

For example, suppose a user is given access to an individual lock along with an access schedule by being granted access to a group. Then later, suppose this same individual is granted access to a group with a different access schedule and this door group has that same individual lock in it from the previous group. The access on this individual lock is now in conflict. In this case, the system will use the most recent access grant (and its schedule) to resolve the conflict.
