Please note, the August API doesn’t fully support the 1st generation August locks, so RemoteLock can not import them into the EDGEstate portal.
Your August lock should be a 2nd or 3rd generation and have a serial number that starts with “L2” or “L3".
Lock's with a serial number that starts with “L1” is an unsupported 1st generation model.
The August ASL-02 and 03 models are supported while the ASL-01 models are not.
Select August from the Integrations tab.
Connect with August
Sign in to your August Account.
Verify Your August Account (if required)
Allow RemoteLock to:
- Operate your August Smart Locks
- View Status of your August Smart Locks
Clicking 'Agree' will take you back to the RemoteLock > Integrations > August tab. You will then be able to select which locks to import into the Remotelock site by clicking on the blue “Import” button.
Note: Only Locks that are registered to the account can be imported. Locks that have been shared to the account using the “App Access” option from another account can not be imported to RemoteLock and will need to be connected using the original account information.
When you click "Import", you will be asked to choose a location for the lock (which you will have set up in our system previously). Select the Location then import the lock.
After adding the devices to a location you'll see the devices show up under the 'Devices' tab and you'll be able to manage them directly from the RemoteLock portal. This is the final step in setting up the August integration! Any locks you've imported are now ready for use.
Click 'Disconnect' If you would like to terminate the connection and end the integration between RemoteLock and August.
