The RemoteLock/V12.NET integration is currently in beta. This means that the integration is fully functional and available to our most eager customers, but as a brand new capability, we are still working hard to iron out small kinks and make sure your experience is a good one.

About Rental Service Integrations
When a service such as Airbnb, VRBO, or V12.NET is integrated with RemoteLock, your rental guests can automatically receive their own unique PIN code for access to the property during the time of their stay.
This PIN code, along with detailed Access Instructions, are emailed to the guest automatically by the RemoteLock system. These emails to the guest can be sent at a time of your choosing, such as a week or a day before the guest's reservation is to begin.
Step 1: Enable RemoteLock from your V12.NET portal
RemoteLock is a partner of HomeAway Software / V12.NET, and must be enabled for your V12.NET account.
Please begin by following the official V12.NET instructions here.
After this step is complete, RemoteLock will be notified and should approve your V12.NET account within one to two business days.
Step 2: Associate rental properties with RemoteLock
Within the same V12.NET instructions, find the "ISILink" section and follow the directions shown to associate your V12.NET properties with RemoteLock (a Channel Partner). Only properties that are associated with RemoteLock will appear in your RemoteLock portal

Step 3: Choose Guest Message Times
We recommend choosing Guest Message Times to determine when the RemoteLock system will send automated emails to your guests containing their individual PIN and Access Instructions.
You can choose to send the email a certain number of days or hours before the guest's stay. If no Guest Message Times are added, guests will be notified immediately when RemoteLock receives your reservation from V12.NET.

Step 3: Integrate V12.NET with RemoteLock
Next, navigate to the Integrations tab and select the V12.NET tile.
Within this page, you will need to enter your V12.NET Account ID and then click the Connect with V12.NET button:
Your V12 Account ID can found in the top right-hand portion of your V12.NET account.
Immediately after connecting, the RemoteLock system will "sync" the rental properties from your V12.NET account. This could take up to several minutes, if many properties were associated with RemoteLock in Step 2.
Note that after integrating with V12.NET, only newly-created reservations will be processed. Some reservations created within the 48 hours prior to connecting may also be processed.

Step 4: Associate doors with your V12.NET listings
Once your V12.NET listings appear, you may choose which doors are associated with each V12.NET listing.
Simply click Add Door next to the property name, and chose choose the appropriate door/lock for the listing, and click save. More information on adding and registering locks in EDGEstate
When a door has been successfully saved you'll see a 'Saved' pop up at the bottom of the page and the selected door will appear in the list.
The RemoteLock system will communicate with V12.NET hourly to sync and update reservation information. This is done at the beginning of each hour.
